An uncomplicated all-rounder

An exciting wine was produced 100% from the Grenache grape variety, also called Grenache in Spain. The grapes come from the relatively cool McLaren Vale. Although the 2019 vintage brought quantitatively low yields, these were of particularly good quality. The vineyards were harvested in sections that were vinified separately to achieve a wide range of flavors. The three sections were only brought together during blending for bottling. The expansion took place for 12 to 15 months in used oak barriques.

And this is how maxwell’s Four Roads Grenache tastes

The Maxwell Four Roads Grenache presents seductive aromas of raspberry and red fruits with hints of herbs. On the palate it is concentrated, with well-supporting acidity and soft tannin. Lush plum aromas, complex spice and spicy fruits are accompanied by wild tones and hints of chocolate and delicate vanilla notes. A very accessible wine with good drinking flow and animating reverberation.

And that fits Maxwell’s Four Roads Grenache

The Maxwell Four Roads Grenache is wonderful with grilled chicken or chicken wings. We love it with hearty stews. It also cuts an excellent figure for game dishes.
