The Hill&Dale winery is still young. It was founded in Stellenbosch in 2001. Winemaker Guy Webber produces great wines here with a very good price-pleasure ratio. On the nose of Hill&Dale Sauvignon Blanc, you immediately have a whole host of tropical fruits, papaya and passion fruit, accompanied by gooseberries and yellow apples. Hints of fresh green herbs and flint also show up…. On the palate, the white wine is creamy and fresh at the same time, the acidity is crisp and well integrated. The expressive fruit continues animatingly. A real fun wine, especially on the terrace.
A wonderful, partially barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc from winemaker Jane Cooper from the still relatively unknown Ohau Gravels region.The Ohau Gravel Sauvignon Blanc beguiles with a delicate bouquet of ripe white peach, limes and nectarines.
