    The worldwide classic

The grapes for the Black Cottage Sauvignon Blanc come from the Wairau and Awatere valleys. They are first gently pressed and fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks in order to work out purity and grape variety character. The result: a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that is accessible and delicious.

And this is how the Sauvignon Blanc from Black Cottage tastes

In the glass, the Black Cottage Sauvignon Blanc shows a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it is very complex, with a wonderfully exotic scent of honeydew melon, golden kiwi and a hint of elderflower, accompanied by red and black currants. On the palate, cassis continues, with fresh lime, crunchy herbs and hints of sea salt. A lively Sauvignon Blanc with good structure, animating, appetizing acidity and with a refreshingly dry finish.

And the Black Cottage Sauvignon Blanc goes well with this

The Black Cottage Sauvignon Blanc is ingenious as an aperitif, with antipasti, summer salads, grilled vegetables and light fish dishes. Our tip: Try it with Thai fish meatballs or seasonal asparagus salad.
