Fresh, crisp Sauvignon from the cult winery

Estate Vineyards wines come exclusively from Te Mata Estate’s own vineyards and are blended to represent the best qualities of their variety, vintage and Hawke’s Bay origins. The warm climate of Hawke’s Bay and the permeable soils produce Sauvignon Blanc with ripe fruiting characters that are balanced by fresh acidity without the need for residual sugar. After the harvest, the grapes are cooled, gently pressed and the juice is cold deposited in stainless steel tanks before fermentation.

And this is how the Sauvignon Blanc Estate Vineyards by Te Mata tastes

Crystal clear, super fresh, multi-layered and extremely appealing is the Te Mata Sauvignon Blanc Estate Vineyard. Aromas of pineapple, lemongrass, creamy soda and white nectarine flow from the glass, which combine on the palate with mango, intense passion fruit, gooseberry and a hint of dill and mint. This white wine is wonderfully structured and with refreshing balance and crisp acidity, a lot of drinking pleasure, not only in summer on the terrace.

And that goes well with Te Mata’s Sauvignon Blanc Estate Vineyards

The Te Mata Sauvignon Blanc Estate Vineyard is great as a soloist before the barbecue starts and then the ideal partner for Mediterranean antipasti, especially grilled peppers, as well as fish and seafood. Try it with a seafood salad with tomatoes and olives or with gratinated goat cream cheese on summery leaf salad.

"Bright, fresh and inviting, the bouquet shows grapefruit, feijoa, kiwifruit and lime peel aromas, leading to a tasty palate that is juicy and lively. Pristine fruit flavours and fine texture, brilliantly structured by lively acidity, leading to a delightfully long crisp finish." -Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, November 2018, 91 points
