Steak and wine – that tastes great

The philosophy behind Angus The Bull is to create a unique and innovative wine that is the ideal accompaniment to premium beef. Each year the most promising parcels are hand selected and blended from premium Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from a number of outstanding vineyards in central Victoria. The flexibility of this blending approach ensures great consistency from vintage to vintage and allows the best attributes of each vineyard to be combined for exceptional results.

And this is what the Angus the Bull Cabernet Sauvignon from Aberdeen Wine Company tastes like

In the glass, the Angus the Bull Cabernet Sauvignon shows an intense garnet red with violet reflections. The nose is seduced with lots of ripe black fruit, cassis, blackberry and blueberry, accompanied by an intense scent of dark chocolate, smoky notes and vanilla. On the palate it is powerful and densely woven, lots of fruit here too and supple tannins, a very animating Cabernet Sauvignon, with lots of extract and a spicy, lingering finish. An ideal accompaniment to red meat, preferably beef steaks.

And these dishes go well with Angus the Bull Cabernet Sauvignon from Aberdeen Wine Company

The Angus the Bull Cabernet Sauvignon is made to be drunk with roast or grilled meat. But we also like it with a braised roast or smoked ham.
